As political leaders take stands on issues, it opens up an opportunity for columnists to respond. When there is active and civil discussion on issues, we all move forward towards conclusions. Recently, Alberta Premier Danielle Smith and federal Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre have stood up for women and girls with regard to what could be categorized as trans-gender issue. Most media types have been dismissive.

The first edition of the Banner & Press for March features the celebration of a Neepawa resident's 100th birthday! As well, an update on a robbery and weapons incident from last month, an investigation into a local vandalism and charges laid in a fraud case in the R.M. of North Cypress-Langford. 
 
It's not all police news though, as we have an update from the Beautiful Plains School Division budget talks, the Neepawa Titans and the Neepawa Golf & Country Club’s AGM. All that, plus our Everything for Your Farm feature in the Mar. 1 edition of the Neepawa Banner & Press.
