While at times I do so begrudgingly, I am overall happy to participate in Statistics Canada’s surveys.  Governments can only make decisions as good as the information they have, and the only way they get that data is if we give it to them.

On Thursday, Oct. 18, Whitey’s Fitness & Body Shop and It’s Time Fashion & Gifts teamed up to put on Grit and Grace, a fitness and fashion show. This was their second of what they hope to make an annual event at Whitey’s gym. The purpose of the evening was to show the ladies who attended two great ways to make themselves feel beautiful and confident.

Sadie McIntosh of the Yellowhead Midget Chiefs has been selected as the goaltender of the month in the Manitoba AAA Female Midget  Hockey League. McIntosh, a grade 12 student from Neepawa, picked up four wins out of six games played for the Chiefs including three shutouts.
