The Neepawa Resource Centre was torn down on Monday, March 26. The land was sold by the Town of Neepawa to the Budz N Bloom daycare for a possible second location.

A piece of Neepawa’s history was taken down on Monday, Mar. 26. The land will be made available for Budz N Bloom daycare for $50,000 according to an agreement that was made last year by Neepawa Town Council.

A couple of inches of heavy snow blanketed the country side Monday morning, but as the temperature did not go down but a few degrees below freezing, there was no indication that a March cold spell was in the offing. The sunny days during the previous week caused most of the snow to disappear but now there will be another run of rivulets.

RM of Oakview, March 13: An inquiry if an attachment could be purchased to put on snowploughs so ridges are not left on driveways was received by the office. Variation orders were granted to: Eddy and Arenda Vanderdeen to establish a non-farm dwelling on part of the northwest quarter-section of 28-13-20; Sean Common to establish a non-farm dwelling on the northeast quarter-section of 13-14-21 with the maximum required site area of 10 acres varied to 18.46 acres.
Ag West Grand Re-opening attracts farmers

Advertised as a Grand Re-opening event, AgWest at Neepawa had about 200 visitors drop by for coffee and donuts mixed in with some old-fashioned sales talk. Store sales were good and a number of sales leads were generated. AgWest, Neepawa has 11 staff and have recently added MasterFeeds and Stafix fencing supplies to their extensive line of machinery and parts products.
