I was to be in the Okanogan Valley this week enjoying all the fresh fruit. However because of the fires I decided not to go. So in place of a trip I purchased fresh peaches and ate them fresh and in different recipes. My company and I enjoyed this recipe and I hope you do too.

Exercise buffs in Neepawa recently sweated it out for a worthy cause. Nearly 50 people participated in the Whitey’s Fitness and Body Shop barbell workout/fundraiser on Monday, Sept. 3. The event was put together to support Lindylou Escabarte, who has been combating breast cancer.
