Pair of commitments to Neepawa Natives

A pair of players are joining the Neepawa Natives for the 2016-2017 Manitoba Junior Hockey League (MJHL) season. Eighteen-year old forward Riley Vautour and 16-year-old defenseman Sam Stewart signed their commitment papers with the club last week for the upcoming season.

The Yellowhead Bowhunters Club showcased what it had to offer to some of the best marksmen from across the province. The group hosted the 3D Outdoor Classic on the outskirts of Neepawa on Sunday, July 10. A “3D” competition consists of life-sized animal targets placed in outdoor areas to simulate bow hunting.

‘Exciting times at Country Meadows’

It’s been a long-standing tradition for the Hazel M. Kellington School (HMK) Grade 5 students to visit the seniors at the Neepawa care home and this year was no exception. There was, however, a change in the way the kids interacted with the residents this year.
