At 5 p.m. on March 24, just shy of 48 hours after Chase Martens went missing from his family’s yard, the two-year-old’s parents issued a public plea. Father Thomas and mother Destiny were visibly distraught speaking to the assembled media. Thomas Martens choked back tears as he urged anyone with information to contact the police, “If someone has our son, please bring him home. We won’t be angry, we’ll be forgiving and grateful.”
Bantam Female Chiefs win bronze

The Yellowhead AAA Female Bantam Chiefs recently skated away with a bronze medal from the 2016 Provincials. The team opened up the tournament on Mar. 11 with a 4-1 win over the Westman Wildcats.
